There are no short cuts to growing in Christ, but the effort is worth it.
This is today's single Christian, and I'm Lina Abujamra. I recently made a new discovery. I found it at my local grocery store. I'm talking about cut up fruit and veggies. I know it sounds lame, but I used to go through the trouble of buying produce and cutting it up and never got to it in time. I got tired of throwing out rotted veggies and quit eating healthy. Then I came across cut up fruit and veggies and ta da! I'm back in the game, baby! The thing of it is that we all want to be healthy physically, spiritually, emotionally. Our trouble is that we don't have the energy to do what it takes for that to happen. We want a magic bullet. We'd rather someone else do the dirty work. And while it might work for my physical diet, the only road to spiritual health is patience, perseverance, and the resolve to go on one day at a time with the help of the Holy Spirit. We are to study, to show ourselves approved unto God, and we are to run the race with endurance. Are you up for the challenge for great resources to help you finish strong?
