When Mark was in London he only saw two people sleeping rough — proof the UK seems to handle homelessness far better than Los Angeles. With LAHSA about to get a massive budget boost, Mayor Karen Bass has some explaining to do about the city’s churn-and-burn homeless industrial complex.  

Switching gears, has anyone actually seen Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey”? Turns out the original story kept changing every time it was told, and one classics professor who translated the source material just shredded Nolan’s film, calling it an absolute stinker.  

Mark also took his fiancée Courtney on a deep dive into her Croatian roots on the island of Hvar, where her family has lived for 12 generations. She was told no relatives remained… until she actually found them.
