Residents of flood-prone Nkomazi in Mpumalanga have urged President Cyril Ramaphosa to direct his government to come up with permanent solutions to flooding in the area. The Nkomazi, Bushbuckridge, Mkhondo and Chief Albert Luthuli municipalities have been seriously affected by the recent floods.
