INTRO: Hundreds of people living with autism marched to Parliament today to hand over a memorandum to various government departments, including the institution. The protest coincides with the start of the global commemorations of the World Autism month, which is observed in April. Minister in the Presidency for Women, Youth and People with Disabilities, Sindisiwe Chikunga, accepted the memorandum on behalf of government. She told the gathering that there is already work being done to address the challenges of the people with disablities at large. Abongwe Kobokana compiled and Clifford Maringa reports...

As millions of South Africans prepare to travel this Easter, AWARE.org, in partnership with the Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC), is calling on listeners to make safer choices on the road through its "Never Alone" campaign. Easter remains one of the most high-risk periods, with increased traffic volumes and a higher likelihood of alcohol-related incidents on major routes such as the N1 and N3.

The park introduced gate quotas for access control, and also tightened security to manage the influx of visitors this Easter Long Weekend. The park accommodates day visitors and those with plans to stay more days. Meawhile it is reported that as many South Africans converged on various churches for worship, some have taken their time to view nature reserves. Some visitors, say they decided to visit the park to connect with nature, while enjoying their Easter Long Weekend.
