The latest GDP data released by Stats SA was largely in line with analysts expectations. Full-year growth for the economy expanded at a faster pace, growing by one-point-one percent last year compared with zero-point-five percent in 2024. Meanwhile industries such as agriculture, finance and personal services grew positively while manufacturing and electricity, gas and water grew in the negative.
