The Airports Company South Africa is targeting full passenger recovery after posting strong financial results for the year ended March 2025. ACSA CEO, Mpumi Mpofu says while global air traffic fully recovered during the period, South Africa fell short, reaching 92 percent of pre-COVID levels.
Mpofu presented the company's results in Kempton Park, east of Johannesburg. The state-owned company's profits after tax, more than doubled to R1.1 billion rand. SABC News Economics Reporter Nosipho Radebe compiled this report and Ntwananano Vuma has the details.....

Electricity minister Kgosientsho Ramokgopa has acknowledged that electricity is expensive. However he says government is workinig working on an electricity pricing policy. His comments comes as  residents of Diepkloof, in Soweto marched to Eskom's Soweto offices demanding a flat rate tariff of 350 rand for their electricity consumption. Residents say prepaid electricity is not affordable. Neria Hlakotsa filed this report by Euphine Mabunda...

The Limpopo Department of Sport, Arts and Culture has officially opened nominations for new members to serve on the Limpopo Provincial Geographical Names Committee. This committee plays an important role in advising the provincial government on the naming and renaming of towns, streets, rivers, and other geographical features across Limpopo. Its work ensures that place names reflect the province's rich cultural heritage, languages, and historical identity. Residents with expertise in areas such as history, geography, linguistics, or cultural studies are encouraged to submit nominations before the closing date of 27 March 2026.
