The family of the late prominent traditional healer, doctor Sylvester “Mbhayi-mbhayi” Hlati has confirmed that he will be laid to rest in his home country of Mozambique next week Thursday. Seventy four-old, Hlati, passed away at a hospital in Mbombela, Mpumalanga, after an illness. Family spokesperson, General Maggy Mathebula, says a memorial service to honor and celebrate his life will be held in Malamulele, Limpopo, on Wednesday. Affectionately known as “The Great Inyanga,” Hlati dedicated more than 40 years to practicing traditional healing and promoting the use of indigenous medicine.
