Floyd Shivambu has vowed to lead a consultation process to check if there is a need to form a new political party. For the first time the former MK Party Secretary General has broken his silence on the reasons for his removal, saying it was due to a fake intelligence report which said he wanted to overthrow party leader, Jacob Zuma. While he accused some party leaders of corruption, he spoke highly of its leader, saying he learned more from Zuma in six-months than the decade he spent in the EFF. Shivambu briefed the media on his future plans in Johannesburg on Thursday. Ntwanano Vuma spoke to political analyst Prof Ntwanano Mathebula.
