SEGMENT #1: Winnebago County Forest Preserves “Hooked on Fun” Event June 14th

Natural Resource Manager Mike Groves discusses the 8th Annual “Hooked on FUN” Kids Fishing Event scheduled for June 14th from 9-11am at Four Lakes Preserve on Hatchery Road. The event happens rain or shine and is free for the families with kids 3-6, 7-11 and 12-16. Interested people just show up, register at 8:30am and fish at 9am. More info at WinnebagoForest.ORG. In addition, Mike outlines that there are over 44 parks, and over 12,000 acres of Preserves for the public to enjoy.
