SEGMENT #1: Belvidere Mayor Clinton Morris
In this segment, Belvidere Mayor Clinton Morris outlines the new jobs and new businesses in Belvidere in the past 3 years. In addition, he is still optimistic that Stellantis will open the Belvidere Assembly plant with two Jeep vehicles by 2027. Housing is up, new businesses like Walmart Distribution Plant and GE are building in the area. Outlines the importance of the Belvidere Park District to attracting residents, too.

 


SEGMENT #2: Freeport Mayor Jodi Miller
Freeport Mayor Jodi Miller, in her 3rd term, outlines the new $31 million dollar water and treatment project that is starting this year for a water system that is from 1960 and earlier. She is happy with the new team for the city including new Fire and New Police Chefs, New Developmental Director and more. She highlights the draw of Little Cubs Field and outlines Summer city plans such as Tutty Baker Days. She also announces that the Generations Brewery Building has been sold, but can’t announce the buyer yet. 


SEGMENT #3: Rockford Mayor Tom McNamara
Rockford Mayor Tom McNamara covers the new, potential Data Center on land owned by Monarch of California. The City has no knowledge of any deals, businesses, or confirmations on who or what is coming to Rockford. He also covers the use of Flock Cameras, construction on Auburn Street starting March 18th, The new Chamber Outlook and why the city is backing the Rockford Area Arts Council once again this year.
