SEGMENT #1: Winnebago County Forest Preserves “Hooked on Fun” June 14th
Natural Resource Manager Mike Groves discusses the 8th Annual “Hooked on FUN” Kids Fishing Event scheduled for June 14th from 9-11am at Four Lakes Preserve on Hatchery Road. SEGMENT #2: Don’t Be Next Foundation Events with Executive Director Matt Weldon
The Don't Be Next Foundation is hosting numerous fundraising events in June and July so Executive Director Matt Weldon outlines the Mission of the Foundation to prevent individuals taking their own life. Fundraisers include a BBQ Tasting Event June 21st at Baseball Tap, and the annual Golf Outing in July to raise funds, support scholarships, and to assist the community non-for profits.
