Karen Tilly of the Alpine Kiwanis Club outlines new things happening with the Kiwanis Club such as a fundraiser April 26th at Artale Co. for Wine, Beer and Spirit tasting. She also outlines where the money generated each year is distributed, and how many scholarships are handed out each year. SEGMENT #3: Rockford Mayor Tom McNamara 

Rockford Mayor Tom McNamara recaps the Promise Initiative that produced 267 NIU Scholarships, 93 Rockford University Scholarships, and 87 Rock Valley College Scholarships (Free Tuition) for RPS Students. He also recaps the need for the Community Healing Center that opened this week at the Boys and Girls Club Stenstrom Building.
