In this segment, Tammy Christiansen and Pam Henderson of Heartland Hospice, with Sylvia Yone of Morning Star Village, outline the importance of pre-planning for your healthcare. At this free community fair Wednesday, April 16th beginning at 10am, information will be available for all.



SEGMENT #2: KEEP NORTHERN ILLINOIS BEAUTIFUL CORINNE SOSSO 


In this segment Corinne Sosso from KNIB discusses the importance of Composting for the environment, how to do it, where to get tips, and what to compost. More importantly she outlines why we should all do our part. In addition, since Earth Day is in April, she encourages all to learn at KNIB.ORG and get started.  

 


SEGMENT #3: GiGi’s Playhouse Rockford Executive Director Karen Carlson 

In this segment, Executive Director Karen Carlson outlines the upcoming May 3rd GiGi’s Playhouse 5K Run and Walk event at Roscoe Middle School. She outlines the need, the ways to sign up, and the mission statement of acceptance for Down Syndrome individuals. She outlines over 450 families have been assisted by GiGi’s and that no one ever sees a bill for their services in education, and program involvement.
