30: on strategies to make it through the festive season with your sanity

A short solo episode from Nic in episode 28. It follows up from her previous solo episode on 11 signs that you could be a busy addict.

It is so easy to look around at others and think they seem to be doing it all, when the reality is often very far from that. On the blog and the podcast Nic does talk about things she does with and for her family, but she certainly doesn't do "it all". She is not even sure I know what "it all" means!

So she wanted to share some things that she doesn't do. And she doesn't do them as she has made a conscious decision not to do them. Every time we spend time on an activity, we are making a choice about where we spend our time. She is choosing not to do these things, because she would prefer to spend her time somewhere else.

To become better at how we manage our time, we need to make conscious decisions on both the things we do and don't do.
