While I am here in Fiji, I want to make a conscious effort to share stories of people who have lived here, or grown up here… or any interesting people I meet along the way, to share a deeper side of Fiji and what is at the heart of the people. Including their triumphs and their struggles.
Just before I left Australia, I started working with new clients, Sadhana Smiles and Div Pillay – to produce their podcast called Business In Colour. When I told them I was moving to Fiji, they were in shock, because this is where Sadhana was actually from!! So it was a no brainer for me to invite her to be on the show.Sadhana, is now based in Australia, and is the CEO of Real Estate Industry Partners (REIP) and former CEO for Harcourts Property Management and Harcourts Victoria.
This year she has launched two podcasts, the first as I mentioned called Business In Colour which talks to diversity and social inclusion in the work place, with her powerhouse co-host Div Pillay. She also launched another podcast called Market Insights with Tim Lawless and is a true woman of power.
On this episode she shares with us what life was like growing up in Fiji, how her experiences shaped the person she is today, the impact she aims to create in the world and what a wonderful influence in her life her father has been.
