Hey, y'all, thanks so much for joining me for session one nine of the Therapy for Black Girls Podcast. On the Therapy for Black Girls social media channels, we ask lots of questions to help you to pause and take a second to reflect, and many members of the community love engaging and journaling about some of the questions we share, so I thought it might be cool to bring some of that same energy here to the podcast, and specifically, I wanted to pull some questions to get you to think more about you. Who you are, what makes you tick, how you show up in the world, all of that good stuff. But first I want to share a quick word from our sponsor for this week. How often do you think about your socks? If you're like I used to be, probably not much. But I've recently discovered socks that change the way I'll think about socks forever. They're called Bombas. Bombers are super comfy and super cute socks for the gym, the office, or anywhere else you'd like to wear them. I love that the patterns and designs are different and any others I've seen, and there are no show socks are perfect for when you need to wear a sock but don't actually want to see it. And for every pair of Bomba's purchased, they donate a pair to someone in need. By your Bombas at Bomba's dot com slash tv G today and get off your first purchase. That's b O M b a s dot com slash tv G for twenty percent off. Again, that link is Bomba's dot com slash tv G. So I have ten questions for you today to help you do a little reflecting on yourself. Y'all know I love a good journal exercise, So if you want to grab your journal and write down your answers, great, But I also created a free download for y'all this time, since so many of you asked for it. After the twenty questions for I definitely learned my lesson, So if you want to grab a copy of the questions, you can download them at the link in the show notes. Question number one, how would you describe your relationship with parents, siblings, and other family members? Number two? When you feel like you've been wronged in some way? How do you respond? Number three? Is it difficult for you to ask for what you want and need? Why? Or why not? Number four? When is your negative self talk most active? And when it is active, what does it say? Do you believe it? Number five? How would you describe your role in most of your relationships? Is it a role that you're interested in continuing? What do you think would happen if you switch things up a bit? Number six? What would your best friends say if someone asked them to describe you? Number seven? What kinds of things worry you? How do you typically respond when you're worried? Number eight? What are you most proud of about yourself? Number nine? What relationship has been most impactful in your life? How so does this person know of their impact? And question number ten in what areas of your life do you find it most difficult to be compassionate towards yourself? So there you have it. That's your self reflection starter pack. Hopefully spending some time answering these questions helps you to think more intently about yourself, but if nothing else, it gives you some time to just be alone with your thoughts. Remember that if you want to grab a copy of the questions, you can download them at the link in the show notes, and don't forget to share this episode with a friend who loves a good journaling exercise as well.
