Hey, y'all, it's doctor Joy in collaboration with author and breathwork expert Z Clark, Therapy for Black Girls is exciting to present to you a six part meditation series thoughtfully crafted to guide you easily through the moments that might make the holiday season difficult. Happy holidays, y'all, and take good care.

Welcome. My name is Z Clark, trained in India. I'm a breathwork and resilience expert and the author of the groundbreaking book Black People Breathe Today. I teach powerful stress management tools at organizations like Jack and Jill, Google and Visa. For many of us, the holidays can be a complicated and or difficult time. It is in these moments that it is so important to pay attention to how we're feeling and offer ourselves the nourishment and the comfort that we need. In this guided meditation, we'll talk through several scenarios that might make the holiday season difficult for you or for the loved ones you choose to spend the holidays with. Feel free to come back to the particular scenario whenever you need to. You can find specific timestamps for each section in the show notes. Listen to this alone or listen with your community.
