Municipal Watch: The ANC has reportedly accused ActionSA of corruption and claimed Tshwane Mayor Nasiphi Moya had misused the city’s funds alleging that she used council service providers for private activities in 2025. The DA in Tshwane is asking Moya to provide proof of payment for renovations at her home. However, Moya has reportedly said that she had the documents to substantiate her statement, but will not submit her private life and personal finances to an open-ended fishing expedition.

The City of Johannesburg has settled its outstanding electricity debt to Eskom in full, paying more than R5.25 billion following months of disputes and intervention by the national government. The settlement means Eskom has withdrawn the PAJA process it had initiated over the arrears.
