In the next few weeks as we look deeply at these disciplines of grace, Cathe offers practical wisdom for getting started. Don’t wait for perfect conditions. Be willing to change your routine where needed. Start where you are and trust the Holy Spirit to mature you spiritually as you cooperate with Him. He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it!

In this episode, Sue discusses the freedom we have because of Christ. But with this beautiful freedom, the apostle Paul reminds us not to use it to satisfy our sinful nature. To our last breath, we will battle a sin nature that wants what it wants—but we don’t fight alone.

“For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases Him” (Philippians 2:13). By walking in the Spirit, we are free to love and obey Christ and serve one another in love.
