Donald Trump’s Secretary of Defense nominee, Pete Hegseth is facing a media smear campaign based on rumors and hearsay.  The WSJ reports that Ron DeSantis is being considered as a replacement for Pete Hegseth should his nomination not go through.  Lindsey Graham suggests Hegseth’s nomination is in jeopardy. Future Senate Majority Leader, John Thune signals his optimism that Pete Hegseth will be confirmed.  Hegseth’s mother, Penelope appears on Fox and Friends to address her relationship with her son and how dishonest the media is.  Pete Hegseth sits down with Megyn Kelly about the status of his confirmation.
