When the lights dim, the music starts and the audience bursts into applause, most of us focus only on the magic happening on stage. What we rarely see is the intricate work behind the scenes that makes it all possible. From set design to lighting cues, from promotional visuals to the smallest prop on stage, every detail is the result of weeks or even months of planning and co-ordination.
Joining us is Taremwa Arnold, a creative mind who has worked on visual concepts for some of the most recognisable productions and brands. His portfolio includes adverts for Mukwano, Chipper Cash, Lato Milk and Luo Foundation, as well as multimedia design for shows like Don’t Mess with Kansiime, Comedicine, Teacher Mpamire in the Street, and Mizigo Express. Today, he takes us behind the curtain to explore the production process of a live show and the art of bringing an idea to life for audiences to enjoy.
