Today we turn our attention to a remarkable South African entrepreneur whose journey shows what determination and vision can achieve. Tebogo Moloi is the Chief Executive Officer of Oakantswe Construction and Projects, a company she built from a R3 million operation into a thriving R53 million enterprise. In less than a decade, she has expanded her staff from four to more than thirty and taken her business into major infrastructure and renewable energy projects across the country.
Her story stands out in industries where women remain underrepresented, and as Women’s Month draws to a close, it reminds us of the impact of backing women-led businesses.
Oakantswe has earned an 8EP grading from the CIDB, secured long-term contracts in both government along with the private sectors and diversified into renewable energy and substation development. Through partnerships with TVET colleges, her team trains students besides lecturers in real-world construction as well as electrical work, creating a bridge between education and industry. She joins us on the line.
