Katlego Thulare is a fresh face in the stand-up comedy scene but he's no stranger to storytelling. With 16 years of experience as a Senior Copywriter in the advertising industry, Katlego has crafted compelling narratives for some of South Africa's most beloved brands, including Valpre, Nedbank, Capitec and the list goes on.

His journey took a significant turn during the global pandemic (Covid-19) when he overcame the challenges to build a personal brand that brought about the self-publication of his first book, "Welcome to South Africa - Jou Ma Se Boek!" Launched in December 2022, the book resonated deeply with readers, selling out its first print run by December 2023. Katlego's ability to connect with audiences through humor and relatable experiences was further showcased in his debut live one-man show, "Live What What," on July 7th at the Theatre on the Square in Sandton.
