Dealing with harassment in the workplace

View descriptionShare

Experiencing harassment at work can be an incredibly distressing and isolating ordeal. Whether it comes in the form of inappropriate comments, bullying, or unwelcome advances, harassment creates a toxic environment that can severely impact an employee’s mental and emotional well-being. Addressing workplace harassment is not just a legal and ethical obligation, but a critical step toward fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful workplace for all employees. In the same breath providing evidence after sending a formal complaint is another ordeal on its own and even harder when the perpetrator is your superior

When harassment goes unaddressed, it can lead to a culture of silence and complicity, where victims feel they have no recourse and bystanders are reluctant to speak up
