From the heart of Bulawayo to the global stage, Daniel Kudakwashe Chiweda Jr, known as Chiweddar, is redefining what it means to be a modern Zimbabwean artist from producing, DJing and multi-instrumentalist, Chiweddar’s musical roots run deep.
Trained at the Bulawayo Music Academy, he grew up mastering instruments like piano, drums, bass and guitar; is career took off as a key force behind some of Zimbabwe’s biggest hits, working with artists like Tamy, Ammara Brown and Nutty O as part of the Military Touch Movement.
Now stepping into the spotlight as a solo artist under Bridgenorth Music, Chiweddar is ready to share his voice in a whole new way.
His debut single Pfugama, featuring Noxy, signals a powerful shift blending rhythm, soul and a distinct three-step vibe.
