Born into a post-apartheid South Africa, the youth of today navigate a different socio-political landscape, where they benefit from the freedoms and rights that their predecessors fought for however, we don’t live in a utopian society; challenges persist which include economic inequality, high unemployment rates, and ongoing social issues such as crime and corruption. Today's youth are digitally connected and globally aware, using technology and social media to mobilize, advocate for change, and hold authorities accountable.
