Where are we going wrong regarding unemployment in SA?

We start the week off by looking at this problem of unemployment in our country. The numbers keep increasing with young people losing patience. So many have qualifications, but can't fnd jobs in the fields they've studied for. Politicians on the other hand during election campaigning make all sorts of promises of how they will create employment should they be elected. Big companies are either retrenching or shutting down. One of the most recent examples is tyre manufacturer in the Eastern Cape Goodyear announcing that they are closing their Kariega plant. Last week hundreds of young people in the surrounding townships of Pretoria marched to Rosslyn industrial area demanding economic inclusion. So this morning we thought to ponder on what is actually going on regarding the high unemployment rates? Is it a lack of political will or are affected bywhat's happening globally?
