The story of Chidimma Adetshina contesting in the Miss South Africa beauty pageant dominated the news agenda for almost a month with many South African calling for her to step down until she finally did. Over the years we've also seen the same type of outrage when it comes to issues of racism, be it by a business, school or any other entity. But then, would it be fair to ask whether we as South African focus our energies more on things that are negative more that those that can cbuild us as a nation? What does this say about us as a nation?
