Exploitation in the construction sector has been rife for many years as it is an industry that is mostly made-up of casual labour. History has shown how things go wrong when sometimes unqualified people are made to work resulting in buildings collapsing and so on. Well this may become a thing of the past as the Department of Employment and Labour (DEL), together with its social partners, the International Labour Organization, the Federated Employers Mutual Assurance Company, and the Compensation Fund are uniting to support labour rights and ethical business practices in the construction sector.

Our next guest has been behind the scenes as an artist developer and manager for the past 20 years. He has with developed artists such as Berita and Ami Faku. He has worked alongside with such as Stoan Seate, HHP, Mobi Dixon, Msaki, Oliver Mtukudzi and Bra Hugh Masekela. Last year, his own journey to center stage began when he recorded his debut EP titled "Ndim". The EP features six tracks reflects of work features Betusile Mcinga and Zintle Kwaaiman. He joins us in the studio to speak about his latest single entitled "Xelel'ilizwe" which features poet, Nue Sam and his upcoming collaborations with Jaziel Brothers and Musa (Idols Winner: 2013).

Many of you who’ve been listening to the Municipal Watch feature over the years will remember some of the rot that has been revealed from municipalities in the North West Province. From the Ditsobotla not paying its workers for moths, to Matlosana where the Municipal Manger was implicated in corruption and the Dr Ruth Mompati Municipality where R38-million was spent on a shack that was said to be a call centre. Still on Ditsobotla, Auditor General, Tshakani Maluleke in her latest report revealed that the municipality has failed to submit its financials for two years in a row.
