Human Sciences Research Council has released the results of the country's latest HIV Prevalence Survey which revealed that it has decreased from 14% in 2017 to 12,7 in 2022. In practical terms this is a decline from 7,9 million people to 7,8 million. The sad part is that females continue to be affected compared to males. The good is that the country is doing well in the increase of antiretroviral treatment.

Guest:  Prof Khangelani Zuma - Divisional Executive in the Public Health, Societies and Belonging (PHSB)  research division in the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC).
