Health experts and harm reduction advocates are appealing to government to review the newly tabled tobacco bill (The Control of Tobacco Products and Electronic Delivery Systems Bill). One of their key concerns is that the bill violates human rights as the tightened restrictions around one of the most effective tools in reducing harm and achieving smoking cessation will fall away.
