As holidaymakers return to their homes after the festive season, we speak to border authorities on how it will prepare itself to ensure the 72 ports of entries are safe through the remainder of this period. We understand that there have been concerns raised around borders given the situation in Mozambique in recent times and the border is a one of the busiest ports of entry in the country
Last year, 5 million people used our ports of entries during the festive season with the highest volumes using airports (13 050 flights), vehicles (over 300 000 person as well as public transport) and 709 ships coming into our sea habours.
