Australia’s first COVID-19 vaccine has been approved, the TGA has declared the Pfizer vaccine is safe for use and effective at preventing serious illness.

Thousands of people are expected to attend Australia Day protests across the city despite a 100 person limit on public gatherings.

The historic Melbourne House on Little Bourke Street is set to be saved from being demolished and instead turned into a 14-storey tower under a new $34m development plan.

It was a memorable day in more ways than one on Saturday for newlyweds Ashleigh and James Foster, the Wodonga couple welcomed their daughter Stevie and tied the knot all in less than 12 hours.
