Alisa Xayalith, the former lead vocalist, guitarist, and keyboard player for The Naked and Famous has released her latest solo project.

After the band went on hiatus, Xayalith struck out on her own - and her debut album 'Slow Crush' was released last week.

She says it's a 'massive milestone' to finally put out her new album - after teasing it with a single a couple of years ago.

"So many of these songs sit at the intersection of my girlhood going into womanhood, and it's really cool to kind of commemorate memories and experiences in my life that have happened while also growing into this artist that I am."
