Laura and Em are giving their brutally honest reviews of some of the biggest films in this year’s Best Picture race — separating the genuinely great from the ones that might only impress the film bros.

There’s the blockbuster spectacle Em loved that Laura still can’t believe made it into the Oscars, a devastating drama that left an entire cinema quietly sobbing, and a bizarre twist-filled film the girls almost can’t discuss without ruining it.

Plus, the wild sports movie everyone’s suddenly obsessed with, a comeback performance that could steal the night, and the one film both hosts agree we’ll probably still be talking about long after the Oscars are over.
