Em revisits the 2000s take on Twelfth Night that basically got her through high school English, while Laura makes the case for a beloved Taming of the Shrew adaptation she’s watched at least 30 times.

Then, in an extremely rare reversal of roles, Em gets to be the one who drops a piece of pop-culture knowledge that genuinely shocks Laura, as she discovers in real time that a critically panned movie starring two real-life sisters was actually an adaptation of Sense & Sensibility. And frankly, Laura and Em would like to remind the critics that a movie doesn’t have to be a masterpiece to be an extremely good time.

Plus, Em tells a story about taking a bus that has almost nothing to do with any of this, but may be the most important contribution to the episode.
