A sensor capable of measuring crop water stress and determining when is the best time to water a crop could soon be common place on Australian irrigated farmers.
The technology sends information from the paddock to the CSIRO's sensor data infrastructure, adding the weather forecast, and uses machine learning to apply a unique algorithm.
