Chad (email) - I was raised protestant but had no faith whatsoever in my adulthood until a year or so ago. I'm trying to get clarification on Catholic teaching on predestination. I've heard the word "the elect" meaning those chosen by God to go to heaven. I have also heard that God doesn't want anyone "not anyone" to go to hell. So, isn't the whole world "the elect?" (01:37)
