What in the world I've just showed a little pre kickoff for the Thursday night game snow.
Yes, ain't nobody got time for that? It's November.
You come on Michigan stopped, and all of a sudden you've been here.
You act like you don't know what the white stuff is? WHOA hold on? Now? What're we talking about it?
You know?
This is that sounded?
Hold on?
Just because I'm in LA and Hollywood is I say, it ain't gotta be that a drug, man.
I don't appreciate how you put LA in a box.
Everybody's not doing it, okay, just casses Hollywood and people out here, you know, like.
To be on the scene with that.
I say, think it cost me a job once I've a turning the story the actual wood or the assumption you were on it.
No, I'm just a rough day.
I had a job situation whenever, and I went, this is gonna be interesting.
And I didn't know. I didn't look in the mirror.
Sometimes, you know, you drive somewhere, you go meet somebody, and I ate a couple of powdered donuts on the way. And after the whole interview was over, I went to the bathroom and so I had powder on my note.
So everything's not funny.
So that's what we call it, powdered donuts. I called it. You were in New York. You had a rough day. Hey, Rob, do you look a little sleepy? I gotta pick me up?
Here you go?
No, never, never, nah, I know you don't strike me as that person. Never, even in New York and eighties. I told people, I've said this on the show before. I've never even had a puff of a joint in my whole life. I'm sixty years old. Not even a puff of a joint. So I'm not into I just never got to just libations. Yeah, I like to drink.
What's it come debating? If I believe in Alex? Do we believe him? I don't know if I do. But Rob is a straight arrow. He is a straight Well he's nine. He has been working since he nine. I know, I know. I know that.
Well.
First of all, you know he's gonna tell us that. Well, I was coming baseball since eighty seven. But if you count when I was nine seventy three.
Tape recorder under my bed, under my.
Bed, I was listening to the Yankees and the match because I got I got the change.
Though, Alex, You've heard them.
And we literally believe I have the chape from what I want to know, we know you have the tape. I have to takee Okay, first of all, this is now. This is one of the days I need Rob G here, Rob G, I hope you're listening. Shout out to the new baby.
You busy. The baby they got. They got babies in stereo. Babies.
They do have babies and baby and stereo they do. Yeah, I know about it. I got it surround sound in my house. But nobody has more memorabilia of themselves than Rob Parker.
What Parker Cause I held on the stuff.
He's gonna no, but I'm saying no, no, no, no, no, it's not like you go. I was in my grandma's garage and I follow you find them on a regular random Tuesday for no reason.
No, but I'm could do. You were going crazy on the ground, like crazy because I found a lot of old you. Every day was a day.
Take me Back Tuesday, Way Back Wednesday, Throwback Thursday, Flashback Friday, you want to see it again? Saturdays crazy rest on the picture of me.
Sunday exactly today was the old Big Parker and the man banner from the old radio show.
Yes, I've been finding I might. I'm not gonna lie.
You got one more posting on be like what you're trying to say, Rob, You keep showing on these old radio show what you're trying to say?
All you doing? Keep posting up this is my old radio show. This is my old radio partner.
Hey, Ryan, let's book Mike Stone though, my first radio partner.
What you're trying to say?
Man, that's all good. The streets lover with Bill Nobody. We're doing a great job. The street's enjoying it. The couple's doing just the streets out here talking about you know what I mean. It might have been a little bumping this thing. All right, where are we at now?
All right?
You about to make me do what Lebron did, or at least said he's gonna do.
That's right.
All you gotta do is just block me like I did. Got leave. That's all you.
Lucky Alex just stepped out for a second because I was gonna hit you with the The block party was just a little song you had. It's my part and I'll block it if I walk you. Yeah, Okay, it's been a lot of you saying to that Lebron James. There's a declaring on social media that he's leaving social media and the most Lebron thing to do. And y'all know I love him, that's my guy, but man, like, just do it, Lebron. It's okay to just like. Man, you ever notice, you know, we goes by, we gonna have Bron ain't really posted none in a while.
And then you realize maybe he's checked out.
Now, he's always done this zero dark thirty when it comes postseason, but him do he is doing a little early the first you know, month into the NBA. No why he's doing it, but go ahead, But well I think we all kind of know why. One of the things again, one of the things that drives me crazy at times, but it's also kind of fun. And knee is his passive aggressiveness, right, he won't we hey, Lebron, how you feel about this? I don't really pay no attention, you know. But then they'll post a Ryan what's the little car too? Arthur the little way when he got the fist, and then little meme everybody use yeah that was Arthur. Yeah, Or he'll be like, no, I don't even see that. I don't even know what they talking about. And then they'll post a you know, a little random cryptic tweet or Graham.
And they're like, Lebron, what does that mean. He's like, if you don't know, you don't know. They no, we don't know Lebron.
So he does that and I enjoy it because it's funny and it's humorous.
But it's like, all right, you can disappear if you want.
But I'll say this, one of the things I've liked about Lebron is that he's lived his life out loud. And what I mean is he ain't hide as kids. He ain't doing no weird Michael Jackson, we don't know the kids covering the face of blankets. Family's been his family. My kids in a in a you know, little aau game. I'm pulling up. He has a high school game. I'm pulling up. I got the family photo. Y'all get to see the family photo. I do appreciate that he's kind of lived his life. Hey, I'm just gonna live my life just because I'm a superstar. Don't have to like hide off and be in secluded and you guys never know. And it's like he's living his life. Man, y'all see my wife, you see my family. It is what it is. How I feel about an election the same way y'all talking about it, how I feel about injustice, black lives matter, whatever it is he speaks about it. I do appreciate that. But this part is all right, lebron I get it. You don't have to tell us last point. Rob also don't believe he's going away. I think he absolutely will have a fence to account as in a fake instant. He will have a burner account. He will see what's going on. He just won't post from the King James the world. He'll he'll he'll be fully in tune with what's going on for a little bit. I'm not saying he'll be engaged like he typically is. He absolutely is gonna keep an eye on this. This is for one reason and one reason.
Why do you say that tired of seeing Bronnie get bashed you think something?
Yeah, I do. I believe he doesn't want to see it.
Bronni's not playing when he's played, he hasn't done that well even in the G League.
Right, you posting him out like that? Like serious? I mean, sincerely, I'm serious. I believe that that's part of it. I do agree with the part of it.
I do.
I do, because what was the other reason you don't have to make that announcement. You don't have to do all that. All you do is stop being active on posted anything in a while. But to make an announcement, I just think that he's probably seen more than he really wants to see. But he did it to himself as well when he posted.
You remember.
And half of the guys in the league when you put that out there, and then lebron you know, deleted it because he realized that that just one smart and it just wasn't smart, and it added pressure on it. And look quiet as kept he knows Bronnie ain't that good. He's you know, hopefully you hope he gets there one day. But so the idea of saying Bronnie is better is like, all right, come on now, no, but I wasn't better than half the do it is on his own team in college. So let's comment. Do you think that that's part of it?
Though?
I think the element you know this, I'm like, let's say the four of us go hang out. I'm very much and it's LUs as we continue to build our friendship.
Let me say this real quick, I don't know, don't lose yours.
Because even Ryan Clark who's usually pro player and all that attack lebron and Bronnie for not flying with the team on all that, Like it was a pretty hard he came out of pretty hard.
And it's ironic that now.
Because Ryan's usually people will usually rock with him and you know that kind of thing.
Yeah, so do you see what I'm saying?
No, no, no, The reason I was gonna say it absolutely plays a part. You know this, You've grown some thick skin doing this. Rob ain't that people yell, let you talk trash about you. Whether it's nine years he've been doing this, and you know, even me, whether it be oh he ain't that, he ain't this, or he is that he is. I can't stand good or bad. You learn to kind of just take it with a grain of salt. One thing that's hard, especially becomes a parent. You can say a lot about me, don't talk about my wife. You can say a lot about me. Don't talk about my daughters. You can say a lot about me. Don't talk about two other people, my mother and my sister, everything else, whatever. Kelvin In kelvinan that he ain't. I don't know how he got a show. Why did he get into that and why he ain't that tall, he ain't too short. He end today, he's great, he's bad, he's good. I love him, I hate him. You kind of learned to take that as it comes. I admit that it is a part of it because it's going to burn more seeing something about your kid, you know, and especially because you can't do anything about it except for Bronni's gonna have to get better, flat out. That's the only way to change this thing is Bronni gets better, and it will never go away. But at least he's getting better and you can kind of say, look, he's playing well, he's performing well.
Is getting better. So I think that plays a part of it.
And the last point I'll make, whether we think bron did it because of Bronni, whether we agree with it, whether we laugh, whether we joke we here or not, I do think it is therapeutic for at some point all of us to step away for a little bit, because what is it about us, Rob that somebody can go in one of your posts you're gonna make today. We just took some pictures for you, and everybody's gonna buy Rob so cool my guy cool shoes are dope, Yo, Rob, love the show. One person's gonna say something horrible about you, and it's like, what is it about our human disc position that that one thing is the thing that will stick with you?
You know what I mean? That's the weird thing about us. I get it.
I think all of us need to step away because you know, I might post something, Man, you look great, great suit, great, this great thing. One part I hate you on my TV, Get off my TV, and that one's the one that stick with you. What is it about us humans that ninety nine things were either complimentary or at least you know fairly. Notice you want to be liked. I get that people want to be liked. So I think it's therapeutic. I think we all should step up. He step can't have it both ways, I agree. So so if you get me one person says anything.
Right, and you can't also interject your kid right, your lebron James, You got all these followers, I'm telling you my son is better than every behalf the guys in the league. And then when this kid comes in and play, Now you don't want to read or you don't want to hear it. You brought him in too.
You brought him in not the conventional way, so sorely added to it the fervor that's gonna happen. Yeah, no, listen, all this was expected to come as far as like the you know, the the love, the hate, the fandom of Bronnie, the good, the bad, it's just all gonna come with it, I think a lot of people.
So it makes sense because the Lakers are off to a good start. Yeah, he's playing well, a D's playing great. Like They're off to a great start. So what is the reason? That can only be one reason, and it's Brownie? What else is not going right for lebron James right now that he doesn't want to hear.
The only other thing I can answer, I think a big portion is Brownie, without a doubt not no body would be that naive to ignore that. I do also think the political climate, because he's kind of jumped in and over the last few weeks and throwing hit remember like he was a little bit of a little extra. I don't even know we're gonna do with the world now. That's just fear for my daughter, you know, right, you kind of lived through pick pick the president. You live through Obama, you live through first Trump, you live through Bush. You lived through meeting, Like I know how we all vote whatever way you want to vote.
That's the beautiful thing about America.
Yeah, whether your person want to win, we all kind of survive and things do change, but they'll fluctuate. That's why every four years right here it goes back and forth left right, left right. So he was a little extra with that, and I think maybe that too, come by like meaning everything politically is crazy. My son is crazy, you know what I mean? I have just sick it all asks.
I think I think the Bronni bashing is probably hard for him.
Yeah, as a parent, Like I said, as a parent, it's easy. He's got he's grown used to remember that this is supposed to be a crowning moment, right, But I had to have known this was gone, right, I'm not so sure.
Eighty seven seven was ninety nine fox eight seven seven nine nine six sixty three sixty nine?
Where are you? Why is lebron James?
Do you think leaving social media or has left social media? Is it because of Bronni or do you think it's because of something else? Because the Lakers are playing well, He's playing great, so it's weird that this is the time that he bows out?
Or do you think it's something else we want to hear from you.
It is the odd couple on a TV theme song Thursday, Rob Parker, kelvin Washington, right here on Fox Sports Radio.
Stick and stay so Lebron can learn from the wise words of Rob Parker. It's my Twitter and I'll block it. Bob, walk to block it by walk to block it by walk too.
You would block to if they tried to dish you.
I don't take criticism Hardlebron, Kim babe it, Tombo.

Let me down.
Love Fox Sports Radio. It is the odd couple.
Rob Parker kelvin Washington on a TV theme song Thursday, except all the theme songs are Rob literally singing We're done with your name song, I just sing I was coming. At some point I was doing Spider the web. Yeah, man, out of that way looked tired that way. Web that ain't webbing webbing nobody. It looked like, I don't know what you're doing. You never know. Okay, you're lucky, this is a family show. I had some other things I was going to say, yeah, uh, coming to you live from the Tirack dot com studios folks, Rapid radios and stand pusher talk walkie talkies offering National lt coveras for clear connection at the touch of a button. Ain't great communication device for kids, and we use them around the show.
You should too.
We gotta make sure Rob Ge use it too, because he's starting to catch up with the kids. He still needs one more to catch up fully. Go to rapid Radios dot com now for up to sixty percent off and freak shipping.
By the way, Rob, just because you're a little older, don't mean you can't have no kids. By the way, No, I thought about it.
Yeah, I thought about it, because you know, nowadays people just do like you don't have to be made like I'm just hey, I want one you one one. Let's just have a kid and we can raise a cop pair. Maybe when I retire, I might have a kid. What do you think about that? You ain't never retiring? You claim you are, but I don't believe it. When I retire, that might be a good time.
Are you ready? Let's do this.
How about Bruno and Brooklyn. You're on the couple of Fox Sports Radio. What's up Bruno?
Gentlemen?
Love it? Man, Hey, listen once again. Boys. I love the fact that your energy is as good as a suber Ben and I appreciate the show so much.
Appreciate your It's awesome, man.
Okay, it's it's awesome to have you on board. It's good, dude, because here's here's the story Rob your spot on. You know, here's the deal with lebron He's a bullet proof in terms of his social media presence up till now. But now that they're coming from Bronnie, Oh, he's checking out right. He's not so down with what's going on because he's taken heat and you know, let's face it. I mean, he flexed a little bit to get Bronnie where he is and now people are pushing back, and you know what if he was a warrior that, you know, the social media warrior that he always has been stayed, he still have his presence fight back.
And just be like yo, you've got to ignore it, like you know what I mean, like people, and thank you for the call, and Brune, we appreciate you. You just gotta There's really no fighting back because, as you know, the engagement only gets some milk. Dude, Lebron just retweeted me or said something me that is a massive win. Jay Z used to do that. Let's get this other the call. But I'll tell you what Jays used to do after this. All right, Brandon, what's.
You ever side? You're on the couple of Fox Sports Radio. What's up? Brandon shout out to the I eh.
Man, all right, but man, Lebron, he can go somewhere like like everybody said.
Now that his son not getting no playing time, it's not living up whatever whatever this is. Now he wants to cut us off, cut cut himself off from the world like we really care.
First of all, not going nowhere.
He's gonna have a fake He's gonna have Brandon have a fake account. You know that, right, It is right. It is surprising because the Lakers are off to a good start. You know that he doesn't want to soak it up. Now he's gonna get caught.
And then now you want to start saying something about the first round seventeen pigs don't connect. Now you're talking to oh about time they listen to me, And I'm like, this guy, he is just I have him as the second greatest of all time, behind Michael Jordan. But he's just too one still.
No, I get that.
It's just I just want him to.
Do Brandon Brandy, let me Brandon, Let me try to articulate what you mean. No, I got you because this is coming from it has been. It is a noted fact that I'm a big time Bron guy. But one thing you'll learn about me is I continue to be a part of the show. I'm also an extreme realist, like probably to fault. And one of the things that drives us crazy about Lebron is Lebron's over use of things.
He over uses Instagram. He's always on it.
He's posting he'll have a horrible game, Lakers lose by forty, and he posts a highlight of himself. It's like, not right now, Bron, Like this ain't the time to do that right now, y'all just got blown up by forty. He's like, yo all supposed to be the wash King. I thought I was watching this windmill dunk. And that's why I again, I look at it as like we all got friends. You love you's you gotta be like he drives me crazy.
He does that. That's Bron, That's my god.
But he, you know, he does things in a little past aggressive and I do wish sometimes Michael Jordan was in the era of social media and the Baits Show era, because I think some of the things Jordan did, like if Lebron or Kobe or Steph Curry or Atlantic City after a loss in a finals game, man, they will lose their mind. But Jordan got to get away with a lot because we just didn't have social media.
But the difference is, and.
I'm just saying, it's a different thing when like everything is studied and critiqued.
I agree, But back then, Jordan got his lumps in the newspaper and columnists. He didn't know it was at the crib, no, But I'm just saying it wasn't it still was. I was during that covered d NBA during that time, and there were plenty of people said Michael Jordan doesn't make his teammates better, he'll never win.
I read all of that.
I'm going with this, Rob, You're right, without a doubt. We all watched Last Dance. He I was mad about this. They didn't understand. Imagine you can't even pick up your phone though, because you see you have forty literally forty five thousand notifications of tweets, of Instagrams, of tiktoks, of email like this crazy and we have all created We're all guilty of it. We have to live in this real world. Like, man, it's hard at times. You know, whatever you gotta do, life is lifing. But then we also play in the Sims world. It's created, weird world. We are to social media. I have to click Instagram and now I go into this world where I get ridiculed or I'm praise or I'm hated.
I can't wear that.
Outfacaus if I were that green jacket, can't wear it again because I wore it and say you wore that three as like it's crazy. We're all participatory in this new world. I just and I'm saying, if my Michael Jordan, the decisions he made personal life, you know, getting a divorce, like it.
Would be crazy. He couldn't headed the pressure or some other things.
And now tell you know what, I think he would like anybody else because of his makeup, how tough he was.
I just to think that he wouldn't be able to deal with social media.
It's not that he would know. If he was, he wouldn't be able to handle it. It would have been interesting to see how it happened. He was so good and so great.
I just don't think anything would have derailed him because, like I said, when he scored the sixty three points against the Celtics and people were like, oh, yeah, he'll never win. He can score all the points he wants. He don't make anybody better than I'm telling you. People were not, Oh, Mike's the great, He's gonna win on the champion. It wasn't like that. And when people became join fans, there were just as many people didn't want to see him win.
It was but have to agree.
Last point, forget the training that there was a lionizing more that happened back then.
Now this is you gotta give me this.
Now it's better and I can blow up more as a writer, as a blog or whatever to critique to be me to find the bad versus. Back then it was more than lionizing.
No, Oh okay, all right, I know we will disagree. I agree because I think.
It's not era. Where we are now is that.
Most of the reporters are scared to death to confront Lebrono ask him real questions because they're afraid their credentials will be taken away. The columnists that what they used to write in the day were way tougher on players. I don't disagree, way tough for everybody. Most guys. If I say something, people are like, oh my god, what do you say? People are so afraid of the people they cover and the teams.
Like in access like that.
Here's what I'm going to challenge like that. Here's where I'm going to challenge you. How many columnists were there and you know your air give a rough, rough estimate, you know what I mean? Maybe that prominent that would actually get you know all I'm simply saying, you're right is now with social media, it's all And this is what me and Rob G and Alex trying to get you to like feel is more on you're right from an integral standpoint and you you you you're really built from this you're from and that's where you cut your teeth. The challenge is rob this thing is bled together. Now you don't know who's a column. The kids don't even know the columns. They just know I go to ball is life if they go to this website or this blog or this podcast.
But they're also on the.
On on Lebron and the players who are worried about somebody who's on their base.
What what I'm saying.
I'm just saying, like sers old enough and I'm just old.
Lebron doesn't know who Bill Plaski is or cover from.
He doesn't know those girl is a personal I won't say friend, but a personal associate.
I can text him Plaski for forty years.
Yes, Bill's my guy, by the way, Like, what's the opposite, Alex, what's the opposite of a name?
Drop?
You?
Just like you like years dropped me? You just you dropping? But I know Bill. I've known Bill for Let me get my point across.
My point is Lebron, believe it or not, that podcaster might be bigger than Bill.
Bill has more Ryan.
Am I wrong that a new is just the way we're in now Bill Plasky has if.
You're giving those guys, some of those guys way too much credit. Most of the days they have no integrity. Most of them don't have credit credibility. Everything check, check, chill and is still wrong. And that a lot of these players, they hear the blogs, they see the podcast, they hear the clickbait way more than they hear of Bill Plaski those days of I only read my I play for the Lakers, so I read the La Times.
I would say you only read for it.
But I'm saying that column is Butlar somebody you don't know or their credentials. That's at your yes, and I'm I'm agreeing that shouldn't be Ryan, would Steve even Steve, Let's go to Steve.
Let's go to Steve.
Steve.
Do you agree that it's no longer where like I play for the Bulls, I'm Michael Jordan and Chicago Tribute.
I've already that one column.
These guys are twenty two, twenty three, They've only literally known nothing but social media.
It's a different generation.
It's so blogs, they immediately go to the twitters and the in tiktoks, so they don't know.
Bill PLASKI like that. I'm being sincere.
This is what's wrong with social media in general, is things are created equal. Is they assume that it's equal of the lad that's.
The best way about it. But that's that's their miss Yes, but if that's all they know, that's there.
But that's their mistake because you need to know where you're getting it from. Who is this? Has he ever covered a game? Did he go to college? Did he did he go to journalism school? I'm serious, but I'm saying you're right. I'm not saying they're not doing that. But anybody who comes on and quit it? You what a world you would live in.
That anybody can say something and that's going off.
Can I give you an example? And that's the point, Steve, last point, real quick. What had just happened November fifth? The election? Do you know the amount of disinformation? Because no, he just did a study. It's studying. You know, obviously I do news in the morning. The host to and anchor a morning show.
We just did.
They just did a study that found forty something percent of people get their news from influencers. So there's no New York Times, La Times, Time magazine wearing some credential thing. They just go on their phone and then if I spread it, I see it convincingly enough. They share, they share, they share, who then share, who then share, Who shares, share Share, Rob. So you're right, and that's the challenge. No one's a critical thinker now. They just see it, they believe it. They pass it along.
I saw it on Facebook and therefore face it.
You're right that yes, Bill Platt, and I love Bill, that's my guy. But they don't. They see this blog, they see this podcast.
And also in La Times Washington Post have been shedding subscribers significantly in the last year.
It's you.

I appreciate you.
Steve coming to you live from the tire rack dot com studios. Rob Parker kelvin Washington. The I couple having a very spirited conversation, so and so we want to carry it over to our guy, Mark Funky co Madina, Fox Sports Radio NBA Insider, and he is live at the Magics who are in town. Taking on the Lakers. H Mark jump on it your I don't know if you heard. I know Ryan may have told you the conversation we were having. You've been covering the league for long long time, You've been doing your thing different outlets. Did you get the premise of what we're saying or do I need to explain it again?
I do, But I am wondering how is Rob holding up with any of withdrawal symptoms with not seeing Lebron post on social media?
He's not doing.
Well, Alex Doc's my old friend. He's not doing well, Bro, And I said, it's probably because he doesn't want to read any Lebron's That's definitely Annie's massive part of it. I agree, Yes, what do you make? What do you make of the lebrony? Well we can get to that to just a second, but just just a conversation of you doing the thing with media and the players really look at these blogs and podcasts and they really do Am I wrong?
Oh?
They definitely see all the receipts. I mean, look the previous night after the Lakers win against Utah when Don't Connect their rookie went off for thirty seven points. I mentioned to Lebron. You know, he had talked up don't Connect last season during the tournament, so I was wondering, what does he think then? What does he think now? And I'm prompted Lebron James started talking about how everyone thinks he lies all the time the internet, so he definitely sees all the tweets and the quote tweets, and you know, I think some of the eye rolling emojis all the above. As far as what he says in the reaction to it, you can.
Get no doubt about the no media. Yeah, well, well let's talk about let's talk about the Lakers. Let's get there. I'm not that impressed.
I mean, I know that six kme winning streak, that a lot of bad teams during this stretch had the bad road trip one and four.
What do you make of the early Lakers?
Obviously Gonna play was on the schedule, but it has been a cupcake. They've had so many cupcakes I think I have a toothache.
Thank you that hardmark tip your servers. Well, Rob Parker is doing an excellent show.
Thank you, Thank you.
Look Rob, I am with you that it is early in the season. I am impressed with how the Lakers have played so far, it has relatively exceeded my expectations. But they're not top NBA title contenders yet. I would put them in that second tier in the one circumference if the season ended to day. I know it doesn't, but I would project them as a team that could get to the second round. But look, it's a long season. It all starts with how healthy dominant Lebron James Anthony Davis can be, and so far suit good and Rob I will tell you this. I know that it is a fair question to ask about Anthony Davis because of his injury history, but I think for basically since Chang's twenty to twenty three, he has avoided a major injury. I'm not going to say he's mister iron Man in the next Aty Green, but I think that he has shown that he can stay relatively healthy because of how you know, improves his workout regimen is and you know better stroke of luck.
He looks good man.
I think he's second in the NBA and scoring right now in like almost thirty one a game, and JJ seems to be featuring him. He said he was going to do that coming into the season. Let me ask you this don Connect. We all thought, man, he's actually that was actually a nice steal for the Lakers. All the conversation was about Bronnie, but really the still was all, man, they got don't Connect Lebronson.
Yeah he is forty, but so what the forty year ols be coming in the league.
Kyle Kusma came in playing, Alstin Reeves came in playing. Sometimes you're better off getting these kids who were older and more developed. Where do you see him gradually getting into this lineup more and more?
Do you see that happening?
Yeah, I mean he's he's a rotation player the rest of the season. Now, in the short term, is he going to continue to start? That remains to be seen. Ruey Hatchamora had been out the last three games and that's why Dylan Connect started. But I think that it's safe to say he's getting consistent minutes. He's already fulfilled a positional need the Lakers have struggled to address, frankly ever since their Bubble championship season, of having a reliable shooter, and Dylan Connect can be that player and has been that player. Now, look, he's a rookie. He's not a complete player. He told me before the season one of his goals is to be an all round player, and when I asked JJ Reddick about that, you know, he acknowledged it's a work in progress. He's not there yet. Defensively needs to prove and rebound him. But he is a team guy. He wants to develop. He's coachable, he's got an old school soul. He's incorporated, you know, Tjia Reddick's pregame workout. Same thing with Kevin Durant and Devin Booker. He's not those kind of players yet. But I think the fact that at his age as a rookie, that he's already doing things that veterans usually do is a sign, a good sign of things to come. And what's good on top of that is he is a very very confident shooter, and for good reason, because most of the times it goes.
In what's the update on Kevin Durant because the Sons are falling off the map without Durant. I think they're one and five without Durant because they got off to a great start, they were rolling and nine and six.
Yeah, they had said that they're probably going to reevaluate him in about a week and I think the key thing is that that just means reevaluating, that doesn't necessarily mean return. The other thing that's concerning here is keep in mind in twenty nineteen when he injured his achilles, the previous injury he had were they cast strained. So this is an injury that you don't want to rush back. And for the Suns, it's very disconcerting because to your point, they had gone up to such a great start. Obviously a lot of it has to do with Kevin Durant, but they've had a lot of good chemistry with Devin Booker, Bradley Beal. They do have some good roster depth on their team, and Mike Bohnerholzer has shown so far that he can be an effective coach with revitalizing their offense. But the West is so packed right now. I see Oklahoma City as a favor, and the more and more Kevin Durant is out, that idea that they could be in the mix could be unfounded. I talked to one GM before the season that was bullish and telling me that he considered the Suns a favor because he was just so high on the chemistry with their VIC three. But look if they're not healthy. It really doesn't matter.
Hey, Mark, we'll get you out of here on this one real quick.
For us.
What the heck is going on in Philly right now? You've got Tyre's Matthew calling on Embiid and be saying, man, whoever whoever righted that you know that personal conversation we're having out as a piece of you know what what's going on there? And is it possible you don't know it could be front office and management. Is it possible that you know, they maybe start looking in fielding some offers for Embiid.
I think he never say never with anything involving Darryl Moury, But I think that what the reality is is the Sixers are in a precurious position. If there are two and twelve with the roster that they have, why would any other teams want them unless they're just going to go on a garage sale. So that's number one. Number two, you know, Darryl Mory put all his chips in a giving Joelbiding an extension, getting Paul George on the Max Steal. They do have some serviceable players, but the problem that they've seen very far is that it's one thing for them to have enough roster depth to compliment Joel Embiid and Paul George and Tyree Smacksy, but they can't replace them. And even with Tyre Smaxy having a bigger role when both of those players have been out hasn't been enough. So I don't think that Joel Embiid and Tyree smacks there's only going to be beefing. Even if Joel and beat it doesn't like that it's out there. But the problem is injuries are going to be purvased, and Paul George is already out for another two games because of his left need no structural damage to the Sixers say, but it's the same need that kept him out the beginning of the seasons. So it's wild guys. A few weeks ago in there in that way there was a sense of calm, Paul George saying, the ship hasn't stunk yet, but you know what, they may have already just hit the iceberg. Then they just didn't feel the ramification until now.
All right, look at you waxing poetically. We appreciate you, Mark so much.

Ryan set us off real quick? Uh, I sent you this.
A lady was running in a marathon first place, looking like she's getting ready to win.
And she told the news folks.
What here's the audio from that that newscast, this is unbelievable.
As hard as she could, and she went on myself.
Yeah, if you didn't catch it entirely, she says, I just blank myself, So could you not?
You know?
So she had about a BM while she was running, and she's.
About so you missed a joke right there, missus? Stand up?
She had the runs while running. Okay, I don't know, I don't know what foreman was in. I mean, but don't interrupt my good joke with semantics. Okay, So yeah.
She had that. She told the camera.
Can y'all back up all right, So Rob, she doesn't want you to take the shin.
I'm not mad at her. That's a great, you know thing.
But you actually see, especially now with social media, how many times this happens in marathons, race car drivers wearing diapers, football players just letting you sent a picture to all of us the other day the Lions win was blanky, Yes you did so, quick question. We only have a couple of minutes. Anybody got a time when that happened to them where they basically, she she couldn't hold it and mad what she had to do to win a race.
Maybe she thought that it was just gas.
I think she won a couple hundred thousand. It's worth it, all right, Ryan, you had more that one.
Yeah, knows the story because I told it to him the day after it happened. Okay, we have an Indian food place nearby that we wonder, but I can't say the name. One time where they did me dirty, we had it for dinner together. And then the next day I lived by a park with a bunch of trails. So I went out and I was running on the trails and and suddenly it just hit it hard, and so I had no choice. I slow up and these trails are kind of bordering a neighborhood. Yeah, so nobody's around it hits and I wish somebody saw me because it would be the funniest thing to ever witness. Because I stopped running, I take two steps and I'm thinking can I know I can't, So I dropped my shorts really quick on the spot. There boom boom, pull him up and just and enjoy hang on he did anyway, Rob Parker bar cheek to seventy six right.
Just bear cheek the neighborhood.
Wow.
So wait, did you get a leaf or nothing? To why what you need to use a T shirt?
T shirt was the bathroom at the parking lot. So then I ran to the parking lot and I will say clean shot to be honest, I was. And so twenty minutes later I circled back. I know I was. I was afraid to revisit the scene of the gun, but I did circle back just to make sure. And I couldn't even find it. So you know what I was like, Hey, eh, like it never happened.
Yeah, whatever, somebody else, you have your clothes on, you know what I mean? She had had a clothes.
She said, hey, camera, and by the way, for the you know, obviously you all couldn't see it. She's running and they have like a you know, airborne camera that's kind of following her, and she said, hey, back that thing up because we don't want to see that.
And finally justice for fairness in the NFL because Robert Crab's not going to the Hall of Fame.
