In the heart of South Africa’s vibrant tapestry, where beauty and economic empowerment intertwine, Aliziwe Agyeman has made a remarkable impact.
Born in a small village in the Eastern Cape and initially a teacher, Agyeman, alongside her husband, founded Nail Boss Beauty Salon and Academy in April 2020.
Amidst the turmoil of the COVID-19 pandemic, they saw an opportunity to address unemployment and a scarcity of beauty skills in black communities.
Their visionary initiative has since trained over 300 individuals, bridging gaps and providing new prospects across South Africa’s townships and rural areas.
As the beauty industry flourishes, Nail Boss Beauty Salon and Academy stands as a beacon of hope and transformation, offering technical skills and fostering community through its innovative programs.
