In a ground-breaking achievement for South African and African music creators, Thando Nyameni, Chairperson of Music Creators South Africa (MCSA), has been elected to the Executive Committee of the International Council of Music Creators (CIAM).

This marks a historic milestone as Nyameni becomes the first African member to serve in this role since CIAM’s founding in 1966.
