Julius Malema and his body guard, Adriaan Snyman’s legal team has continued to challenge the admissibility of video evidence given in their case that was underway earlier at the East London Mangistrate’s Court. The two are accused of firing a rifle at an EFF anniversary celebration in 2018. They face charges of illegal possession of a firearm and contravening the Firearms Control Act and reckless endangerment to persons or property. The orisecutor intended to show video footage of the alleged incident, however, the defence team says the court has to call the camera person who took the footage to ensure its authenticity.
