 

 

The North-West University (NWU) has become the first South African university to adopt an official artificial intelligence (AI) policy. According to the varsity’s head of AI Hub, this marks a milestone for the sector and helps shape national conversations about the responsible use of AI in higher education and research.

SARS announce collection tall for 2025 financial year

Members of the South African National Defence Force have begun deploying across parts of the Western Cape from today, as part of a wider national effort to combat crime. More than 2,200 soldiers have been deployed to patrol crime-ridden areas in the Western Cape, Gauteng, Eastern Cape, Free State and North West. The deployment forms part of Operation Prosper and is set to continue until March 2027
