India has expelled a senior Canadian diplomat after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau suggested that New Delhi may have been involved in the murder of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a prominent Sikh seperatist leader. Following the growing tensions between these two nations, earlier on today, Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Joly announced that the head of Indian intelligence in Canada was being expelled, which explains why India decided to do the same.
