Born in Limpopo, Selepe Madisha grew up in
Lebowakgomo where he completed his schooling in
1998 and completed his National Diploma in Cost 
Management Accounting in 2003 from the Vaal
University of Technology.

Selepe was involved in a car explosion ordeal in
2004 which left him with facial burn wounds.

He has remained positive and driven even after the
accident, motivating burn survivors and he currently
serves as the executive director and national
ambassador for the National Burn Association of
South Africa.
