Over 6 million people in South Africans lack access to safe, clean water. 1 in 9
people globally still have no access to clean water. 1 out of 3 schools don’t have
access to clean water; raising a high risk of lack of sanitation. 1 out of every 5
children die to water-related diseases monthly. And ONE man who grew up in a
community that used to be a part of these statistics, in Venda, rose to the
challenge of being the change he wanted to see. His name is Murendeni Mafumo,
and he is joining us today on Still I Rise.
