Gcina Stuurman, aka Mozz Music, was born in
Burgersdorp, a middle-sized town in the Eastern Cape,
where there were no opportunities and his family and
neighbours did not support his dream of becoming a
rapper.
 His father passed away when he was only 5 years old,
leaving him, his mother and three siblings, to fend for
themselves.
 After graduating with a Diploma in Arts and Design, he
struggled to find employment in his chosen field of
study, so he settled for security work and became a
Security Guard.
 After facing endless hardships, his finally had a
breakthrough with his single Indlela, which is creating a buzz and is getting considerable airplay on radio stations.
