Phumlani Sibeko has over 17 years of experience in
roasting coffee.
He started his coffee journey as a driver at a coffee
shop, before learning about the art of coffee making.
In 2014, Phumlani was crowned the Best Barista in
Gauteng.
With over a decade of experience and as a decorated
barista, Phumlani, together with his partners Bradley
Symons, Neo Moleko and Alessandro Khojane came
together to launch a coffee roastery and eatery named
Manaka Coffee.
The 4 gentlemen grew their business from a dodgy
coffee shop close to a car wash in Bryanston to a
swanky establishment in the Polofields area, in
Waterfall, Midrand.
