Ofentse Monau was born in Bapong in the North West.

He was raised by his grandparents and it was after an
unfortunate incident that he got introduced to cooking.

Ofentse had to teach himself how to cook and it was
through experimenting that he realised that he was a
good cook.

His skills improved dramatically in a short space of time, leading
him to cater at wedding ceremonies.

Last year Ofentse also catered for a small local business owner
on weekends, where he cooked him the famous Sunday several
colours meal.

Ofentse achieved all of this while he was in primary and high
school, as he recently completed his matric in 2023.

He has been accepted at the International Hotel School (Pretoria
Campus) for a 3 year program.
