A Ramona police officer was arrested on a sexual battery charge following accusations that he sexually assaulted a male city employee during a police ride-along. Reports say, 67-year-old Ramona officer Gerald Garrison is set to be charged. The affidavit says, both surveillance video and physical evidence found at Ramona City Hall appear to corroborate the victim's account. On Saturday, court documents say investigators interviewed Garrison and he admitted to having engaged in some sexual contact with the man at Ramona City Hall, but denied touching him beyond kissing. Washington County Jail records show Garrison was arrested shortly after the interview and faces sexual battery and forcible sodomy charges.
